Iran’s “Karrar” – Ambassador of Death UCAV
Conventionally, it’s a flop — short range and small load limit battlefield effectiveness, but could be a cheap delivery vehicle for tactical nuclear weapons in the future.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday unveiled the country’s first domestically built unmanned bomber aircraft, calling it an “ambassador of death” to Iran’s enemies.
The 4-meter-long drone aircraft can carry up to four cruise missiles and will have a range of 1,000 kilometres, according to a state TV report – not far enough to reach archenemy Israel.
State TV later showed video footage of the plane taking off from a launching pad and reported that the craft traveled at speeds of 900 kilometres and could alternatively be armed with two 250-pound bombs or a 450-pound guided bomb.

The similarity with the Nazi’sV-1 buzzbomb is unmistakable. Could that be ramjet, or even a pulse jet, power?
The most bizzarro part of this story, made surrealistically strange by the very LACK of comment on it, is Ahmadinejad’s phrase ‘ambassador of death”. The very juxtaposition of ‘ambassador’ (the tool of non-violent statecraft) and ‘death’ is beyond weird. He is laughably, cartoonishly a pathetic Dr. Evil wannabe. Twisted, evil, moronic and yet, recognized by the Unite Nations as a fine upstanding member. Why are we in that thing again? Why do we pay the bulk of its budget again? Why is it in the US? And why, really want to know this, are we allowing this piece of human debris to have control of a nuclear device? I remain, sadly, confused.
1) Ahmadinnerjacket is not in charge. He is the sabre rattling front rat for their ‘clerical regime of pious muslims’.
2) In our country, as with all the others in history, prosperity leads to unrestricted sense enjoyment, which dulls the intellect and leads to complacency and apathy of the population.
3) The politicians in control of the US are too busy raiding and looting the treasury to give a hoot about Iran or the infiltration of stealth jihadis.
4) Said stealth jihadis speak very nicely and wear nice suits. Oh, and they control the UN which is funded by the US… Now why would they want to change that?
