Matt Taibbi should do RADIO, not TV – for obvious reasons. Dana “Slash” the fearless Warrior Princess uses facts and data to unmask her opponent and destroy his pseudo-PC pretention, reminding us all why we habitually avoid CNN.
Via Big Government. Hat tip Poor Richard.

Spank!
It was DANA that got owned, not Matt.
Well, I guess it’s subject to one’s point of view. I don’t really watch the idiot tube so I don’t know who Matt Taibbi is.
What I saw is another bitter, delusional talking head who appears to make a living by playing along, if not creating, the false narratives that are so prevelant among the left….”racist this, racist that.”
The most amazing thing is this – 300,000 – 500,000 Americans gathered peacefully in the nation’s capitol to celebrate faith and unity and it’s a friggin’ controversy. THAT speaks volumes about the state of our nation.
Allow me to weigh in.
Always examine the source. Let’s compare, shall we?
The best rebuttal journalist that CNN’s bottom-of-the-ratings-barrel Anderson Cooper could come up with was Matt Taibbi, a far left columnist for Rolling Stone, late of The Daily Beast and Real Time with Bill Maher – not hard news journalism, but opinion. In between he declared that running a business and writing is “too hard” (aww – too much like walking and chewing gum at the same time, no doubt), so he retired to play “Russian” professional baseball. Obviously, this makes him an authority on far left views in much the same way that community organizing qualified Obama to be President.
Dana Loesch has blogged at Mamalogues.com since 2001 (that’s going on 10 years for math major Justin). She’s a television commentator, and for the past 2 years has hosted her own radio show, The Dana Show, on KFTK FM news talk 97.1. Her show is #1 in its afternoon market. She has written for corporate parenting communities and major-market publications. She was named the Riverfront Times Best Columnist of 2007 for her popular newspaper column on motherhood and she was selected as one of St. Louis’s “30 Under 30″ by the St. Louis Business Journal in 2008. In May 2009 she was named as one of the top 50 most powerful moms online by Neilsen and made their top 16 power list. Dana vlogs for Momversation, contributes to Big Government and Big Journalism, substitutes for national radio programs, and appears regularly on Fox News and CNN. She speaks regularly on the subject of activism and netroots, serves as co-founder of the St. Louis Tea Party, and is credited with having helped take Dede Scozzafava out of NY23. Dana and her husband, Chris, and their two young sons live in St. Louis City.
Now, let’s cut to the chase… Cooper got one thing right, at least in pitting opinionist vs. opinionist. Truth — the opinion of someone who wasn’t there at 8/28 cannot be comparable to someone who was there and actually spoke with many other people who were there as well. All he could do was stammer he saw it on TV and change the subject. Dana backed up her reports and opinion with eyewitness interviews and facts from the event (see video report

Point, Set, Match Dana.
